Overview

Neighbours Coffee at Seri Gembira Avenue is a charming café that strikes a balance between a cozy ambiance and a thoughtful, well-curated menu. Nestled in the heart of Happy Garden, Kuala Lumpur, its location offers a convenient retreat for those seeking quality breakfast or brunch options in a relaxed setting.

The café's standout items revolve firmly around their softly perfected soufflé pancakes, known here as the Original Fuwa Fuwa. These pancakes are astonishingly light, airy, and tender — a textural delight that many patrons have acclaimed as the best in town. Paired with a modest yet well-executed accompaniment of cream and fresh berries, it’s a dish that entices for both its simplicity and finesse.

Beyond the pancakes, the savory offerings show equal care. The Curry Chicken Karaage bowl reveals a mastery of flavor layering, mixing tender fried chicken with creamy, rich curry sauce supported by fluffy, Japanese-style rice. This dish is hearty and satisfying, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer a substantial meal. Other choices like Eggs Benedict, Pesto Genovese, and the Smoked Duck Aglio Olio provide a nice variety that appeals to different palates, highlighting both classic and unique café fare.

Beverage-wise, the café pays close attention to the coffee experience. Whether it’s the Flat White or the Hot Latte, the coffee is aromatic with a smooth, balanced flavor profile that complements the food perfectly. Alternatives like the Mocha Hojicha and Matcha Latte add variety and demonstrate the café’s willingness to embrace contemporary tastes.

The environment itself adds to the overall experience. The interior design is simple, open, and well-ventilated, fostering a welcoming atmosphere ideal for friends, families, or solo diners who appreciate a calm spot. However, seating is limited, which might require some patience during peak hours. Parking is another factor to consider, as visitors need to use paid parking options nearby, but this small inconvenience is outweighed by the quality of the dining experience.

While many guests praise the food and drinks, some feedback suggests that the service could be more attentive—particularly regarding meal timing and order coordination. This aspect, if refined, could elevate the overall satisfaction even further.

In summary, Neighbours Coffee stands out as a destination for those who value precision and passion in their café food. Its menu offers both indulgent and nutritious options, crafted to satisfy a variety of tastes. The café’s welcoming and cozy vibe, coupled with signature dishes like the soufflé pancake and flavorful curry chicken karaage, make it a spot well worth the visit for breakfast enthusiasts and casual diners alike.

Foods were nice, soufflé pancake was a highlight just the service need improve, no asking the ice cream need serve when, straight away serve before meal and asked customers need any sharing plates. Before visit has asked the view the menu via ig page, but no reply just seen the message.

The facade was nice and has a cozy atmosphere. The prices for the food is reasonable and the portion is enough to fill a stomach. I tried the curry chicken karage bowl. (I'm not sure by the name) The chicken was very tender and the rice goes well with the egg. Tho the prices for drinks are vaguely expensive compared to normal cafes price. Overall, I would recommend it. It was a great experience.

Neighbours Cafe has quickly become one of our favorites, and for good reason! Their souffle is an absolute standout – easily the best I’ve had among all the cafes I’ve visited. The texture is perfectly light and fluffy, with just the right balance of sweetness. While the souffle alone could have made our visit worthwhile, we didn’t order it this time since we were there for breakfast. But if you’re visiting, it’s definitely a must-try! Instead, we opted for another favorite dish of ours – the Curry Chicken Karaage. This dish is nothing short of exceptional. The fried chicken is topped with a mysterious ingredient that adds a unique and irresistible flavor, elevating the entire dish. The rice is another highlight , it’s soft, fluffy, and reminds me of premium Japanese rice. Pairing the rice with their sauce creates a harmonious balance of textures and flavors. The curry sauce itself is rich, creamy, and absolutely addictive – we couldn’t get enough of it. The portion size is also worth mentioning; it’s hearty enough for two people to share and leave completely satisfied. For a lighter addition, we also tried their croissant, and it was a pleasant surprise. At first glance, it didn’t look particularly appealing, but the staff thoughtfully warmed it up for us, and that made all the difference. The exterior was flaky and buttery, while the interior was soft and slightly chewy – a delightful treat that paired wonderfully with our drinks. Speaking of drinks, their Hot Latte deserves a special mention. The foam was silky smooth, and the coffee itself had a rich and robust flavor that was perfectly balanced – not too bitter, not too sweet. It’s one of those lattes that you savor slowly, appreciating every sip. The only small drawback is the parking situation. To access the cafe, you’ll need to park in a paid parking lot, as street parking is no longer allowed in the area. While this might be a slight inconvenience, it’s definitely worth it for the quality of food and service you’ll receive here. Overall, this cafe delivers an exceptional dining experience, from their well-executed dishes to their warm and attentive service. Whether you’re in the mood for a decadent souffle, a satisfying main course, or just a great cup of coffee, this is a spot you won’t want to miss. Highly recommended!

Nice food and decent coffee but prices (avg RM22-30+) on the high side for the portions. The souffle pancake were light and fluffy but so stingy with the ingredients...served with likely 1 strawberry sliced into slivers and 3-4 blueberries. The cream was good but again not enough. 7/10 would give it an 8.5 if generous with the ingredients mentioned. The prawn sando was tasty and better in portion. 8.5/10. Flat white and latte was nice, aromatic and not too acidic. 9/10. The decor is simple and open with good aircon but limited seating.

Arrived around 1030 for breakfast. There were plenty of seats, and we were lucky enough to park right in front of the cafe. Our food orders: The Benedict, Ori Fuwa2 pancake, Chicken Sando, Pancake w omelette, and lemon loaf. Our Drinks: Latte, Flat White, and Fuji Apple Rose. The food arrived at our table, very promptly and it was delicious! It's definitely a cozy breakfast spot for friends and family.

Loved my brunch here! The food looked amazing and tasted even better. The avocado toast was creamy and full of flavor, and the scrambled eggs were perfectly soft and buttery. Everything on the plate — from the mushrooms to the salad — was fresh and well-balanced. Such a cozy spot with great vibes. Definitely coming back soon!

The coffee is great, and the food is well-balanced, not too salty, with just the right portion size. I enjoyed the music playlist and the overall atmosphere, though the space feels a little too open because of the see-through windows. Parking is available but requires payment via Touch ’n Go.
